These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Ambalpady Nayak Trust (R) mobile application (“App”). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall and discontinue use.

1) Who we are

The App is published for the Ambalpady Nayak Family Trust (R) (“we”, “our”, “Trust”) to share temple-related posts, trustee details, festival/Sankranti schedules, notifications, and donation account information. The App does not provide user login or account creation.

2) Scope of service

Informational access to posts, schedules, and trustee details.
Optional push notifications (topic-based, e.g., festivals).
Display of verified donation account details for voluntary contributions.
Optional offline caching of recent content on your device.

3) License to use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and applicable laws.

4) User responsibilities

Use the App lawfully and respectfully; do not interfere with operation, security, or content delivery.
Verify donation account details inside the App before initiating any transfer.
Manage notification preferences in the App or device settings.
Keep your device and OS updated for security and compatibility.

5) Donations & financial disclaimer

Donations are voluntary. The App does not process payments; it only displays bank details for direct transfer.
We do not collect card, UPI, or bank credentials.
Always confirm beneficiary name, account number, IFSC, and branch before sending funds.
For acknowledgements/receipts or refund queries (if any), contact the Trust using the details below.

6) Notifications

If you enable push notifications, Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) may assign a device token. Notifications are for temple updates and festival reminders. You can disable notifications any time in App or device settings.

7) Third-party services

Firebase (Google): used for notifications; subject to Google’s terms and privacy policy.
External links: WhatsApp, phone dialer, bank websites, or other links may open outside the App. We do not control third-party content or practices.

8) Content accuracy

We strive for accurate, timely information; however, schedules and details may change. Content is provided for general information only and may be updated or removed at our discretion.

9) Intellectual property

All content in the App (text, graphics, logos, layouts) belongs to the Trust or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works except as permitted by law.

10) Prohibited use

Security breaches, malware, scraping, or automated access.
Infringing, unlawful, defamatory, or harassing activity.
Impersonation or misrepresentation of affiliation with the Trust.

11) Updates & availability

We may release updates or changes to features, schedules, or content without prior notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

12) “AS IS” disclaimer

The App is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

13) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Trust, its trustees, members, and developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the App, donations made, or reliance on information presented.

14) Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold the Trust harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms.

15) Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the App at any time for any reason. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Sections that by nature should survive termination will survive (e.g., IP, disclaimers, liability).

16) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted at /ambalpady/terms.html with an updated date.

17) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Venue and jurisdiction will be as per the Trust’s registered location.
